The Ethiopian Amhara Organization (EAO) condemns vehemently the murder of Amharas in the province of Gojam. This diabolic act is part and parcel of the ongoing anti-Amhara campaign by the tribalist Tigrean minority regime and its surrogates Ever since this puppet regime has been installed in Addis Ababa by the great blessing of westerners spear-headed by the Anglo- Americans, Ethiopia is in the highest state of turmoil. 

The country has been partitioned in accordance with the blue print of fascist Duce Mussolini. Thereby, the Amhara people have become once again the victim of ethnic cleansing. The atrocities committed in Hareghe, Shoa, Gonder, Bale, Arusi, Welega, etc. Shall never be forgotten. The right of equality and self-government of the Amhara people, who make more than 45% of the Ethiopian population, has been violated. Because of the imposition of a Bantustan apartheid system of politics, the Amharic speaking majority has been marginalized economically and politically. As a result million Amharas have been prevented from using their own alphabet and language. Many children have been forced to abandon their education due to the new language of instruction. 

The Amhara majority in Harer city has been completely excluded. The municipalities in Harer, Nazareth, Debre Zeit, Jimma, Shashemena etc. do not at all take into consideration the language usage and preference of the majority. The ethnocentric puppet regime and its surrogates to perpetuate the famine in Ethiopia have used the Amharas in Gonder and Wello. In the name of food aid westerns have destroyed the domestic market and impoverished the local food production. Ethiopian farmers in Gojam, Keffa, Shoa, Sidamo etc. have been made a dumping market for the subsdised western agricultural produce. 

Amhara peasants in particular have become the main target of western mass media such as the BBC and CNN. Famine is a social fact but not a natural one; it is not an act of God. The cause of famine is not only climatic change. It is caused by human arrangement. The social system and structure are responsible for the famine. Ethiopian farmers must be free to decide what is their right for them. They do not need neither local nor oversea charlatans. Above all the Amhara farmers in Gojam Shoa, Keffa Harerghe, and Arusi etc. have a well-developed organic farming system. It is well in advance to European and North American chemically contaminated and environmentally incompatible system of Farming. EAO demands the disarmament and immediate withdrawal of all TPLF solders and agents from southern eastern and central Ethiopia. The so-called Election in May 2005 is a waste time and money. In Ethiopia there is no democracy but Bantustan Ethnocracy. Therefore, EAO calls upon all people of good will to condemn the murder in Gojam province and else where in Ethiopia. Victory to the Ethiopian People!!!!
